We’ve updated our popular best-buy secured loan product table to make it even easier to find the precise loan that you want. We have over 600 loan products provided by numerous lenders but many of these or even most of these won’t suit your requirements. So, we’ve devised a way for you to drill down into the results. Having set your preferred loan values and borrowing period you can then modify the results by using four new filters:
Bad credit options only? If your credit history isn’t perfect then you can choose to include only those loan products that you stand the best chance of being accepted for. Keep in mind that these days lenders are capable of pricing their loans on a dynamic basis so some products that are defined as “good credit” may still be able to accommodate you even if your circumstances aren’t perfect.
Self-employed only? If you work for yourself and so don’t have a regular monthly income or it varies widely from month to month then you’ll already know that many credit providers will penalise you. However, some products can work for you and others that are tailored specifically for your needs.
For Debt Consolidation? Secured loans are often used by borrowers to consolidate their unsecured debt (credit cards, personal loans, etc) to make monthly repayments more affordable. But lenders will sometimes create products that don’t allow this and with our new filtering you can remove these from the list.
For Buy to Let? If you already own a rental property, don’t want to remortgage for one reason or another but want to extend your borrowing (against the growing value of the property) then a secured loan is another option. Again, not all lenders are prepared to lend for this purpose so this filter option allows you to consider only those that do.
Lastly, it is possible to apply many filters at the same time. So for instance if you have a bad credit history and want a loan for debt consolidation purposes then you can filter precisely to these requirements.
